We all have an addiction...

Sorry for the lack of updates lately! I have been unbelievably busy which results in my being terribly lazy... awful! Anyway, last week I found this pair of Prada slingback/mary-jane/peep-toe heels at Saks' pre-sale! There was also a great pair of Miu Miu tan suede platform sandals but I refrained as I have some Jeffery Campbell's that are very similar.  I love these Prada's though! They have just enough edge with the triple strap but still remain girly and classic. My first pair of Prada's!!

Another exciting purchase this week is the Alexander Wang "Rocco" bag with a strap. Apparently the new ones with the straps are flying off the shelves faster than last seasons without the strap that are ON SALE! I have been waiting for this bag for a while now and have been in desperate need of a new purse too!

I cannot wait to use this gorgeous bag!

Marie Antionette by Sofia Coppola is definitely one of my favorite movies. The makeup and costumes are absolutely gorgeous and the soundtrack is fantastic!  Oh how I would have loved to have played the part! I think having been to the Palace at Versailles makes it even more special. It is such an awe-inspiring and magnificent place I am almost at a loss for words. Marie Antionette led a very lavish life full of parties but it was also full of sadness and tragedy. Coppola created a wonderful and beautiful picture and she made this "Let them eat cake!" French Queen into a human being that we can in some way relate to....

This is one of my favorite scenes... wearing black (the only time I think) and playing with fire! Reminds me of me...

Her birthday scene is another favorite. Oh how I'd love to have a party like that!

Break Break Your Heart

I have been searching for leather pants for a while now and I am not about to spend $1700 on a pair by The Row. While they may be fabulous, they are a bit out of my price range and in my opinion, overpriced. Needless to say I was thrilled to find these Joie pants half off on Singer22.com! I have to say they were quite the attention getter but I think I was able to pull them off nicely (hopefully!). These pics make it seem as though I have really short legs but it must just be the angles and the long shirt.

Seven Days a Week, Every Minute of the Day...

Last night my amazing South African friend Bianca and I went to dinner at Crave in the Valley and then out in Hollywood where we met up with a big group of friends. I love having her take pictures of me because she's done modeling for years and works in the fashion industry now so she is always giving me posing tips and she takes amazing photos! I just realized that this wall is yellow and purple which is ironic because the Lakers played tonight and won, although I wish it would be the Suns playing instead!
Anyway, I loved this outfit it is just the right mix of girly and tough and I never like to be too much of either... I just got the tank and I absolutely love it; It is silk with light gray and blue horizontal stripes.
So delicate and flowy...
