It's A Balancing Act.

I had quite the productive shopping day last friday and one of my amazing finds were the fantastic platforms from H&M!! I fell in love instantly and couldn't wait to wear them...Very Céline-esque, yes? Minus the rivets. The buckles are outrageously large and I think they look best with bare legs and they're real leather too; I have a feeling I will be wearing them a lot, hope you don't mind! My friend Molly from the amazing Riff-Raff took these photos... she's wonderful and has a great blog, check it out!

Pirate Heart.

Sorry for my lack of posts recently! So for your viewing pleasure, I have uploaded a couple too many photos from a wedding I went to this weekend. I couldn't narrow it down to only a few... My friend Amber enjoyed playing photographer which was wonderful since I usually have a hard time finding people to want to take my picture and listen to me nag until I get some that are "blog-worthy", haha!
Hope all of you lovelies had a splendiferous weekend :)

Currently listening to Cœur de Pirate "Comme des Enfants", I can't understand what she is saying but it is a beautiful song!

Vivo En El Sol.

Palm Springs was an absolute scorcher! 115º Friday and 110º Saturday; luckily we arrived later Friday evening (after a sitting on the fwy for an hour with a flat tire!) and left early enough Saturday that we missed a lot of the heat! The only thing one really feels like doing is sitting in a cold dark movie theatre when it gets that hot because even swimming in pools begins to feel like you are swimming in sweat, gross! Finally wore the famous Miu Miu inspired Zara dress... too bad it wrinkles far too quickly.

The Heat Wave is Here.

I have been so terrible at blogging this week! I have been incredible swamped with school and life and this and that... I am off to Palm Springs for the night and then driving straight to San Diego for my "brothers" birthday celebration! No outfit post today, just more inspiration, but there will be plenty when I return (hopefully)!

Have a wonderful weekend all! For now I leave you with Louis Vuitton AW 2010... *SWOON*

I have always been in love with 40's and 50's fashion and LV did an amazing job with this collection.... just gorgeous. Christy Turlington, Karen Elson, and Natalia Vodianova are perfect.

Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want

This photo has been haunting me ever since I saw it on Le Fashion last fall! Everything about this outfit is perfect and while I'm not a smoker, the cigarette just seems chic too... I spy a YSL Arty Oval ring...

Want a feather skirt, I curse myself for not buying the one at TopShop last August in Oxford Circus!

Want printed pants, these paisley print ones are gorgeous and from Zara I think...

Want a Mickey Mouse watch or I should just permanently borrow my Moms!

Want this printed tunic from TopShop for my trip to St.Thomas next month! Blog crushing on fade to black...

Want these Joe's Brenda platform sandals. I'm sure you've seen them on plenty of other blogs already. They's also be great for St.Thomas...

Want another Balenciaga motorcyle bag... Caroline has one of the best collections I've come across although she has recently added the A.Wang 'Rocco' like mine!

"I Gave My Heart to Rock 'N Roll"

Friday night I went to see Kings of Leon in Chula Vista at the Cricket Wireless Amphitheater!! I didn't realize how amazing the seats were until I sat down and then couldn't speak for a good minute and got quite teary eyed! HAHA! We were 4th row from the pit!! The show was by far the best I have ever been to and while I wish they would have played much longer, or some favorite songs like "True Love Way" or "I Want You", it was simply mind-blowing...

Needless to say the day after I was a bit tired but I still liked my outfit; easy and breezy. San Diego was pretty chilly this weekend but I have to admit it beats the humid weather back home here in suburbia! "Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina. " Please tell me you've seen Anchorman??

"Dancing On the Ceiling"

When I saw this picture of Nicole, it really made me want to cut my bangs again... I love the bed head look. I feel like mine always looks so polished, any tips for me?

I love her in this L'Wren Scott dress back in Dec '09.  So polished and chic. The snake skin Louboutins are a great touch too!

Happy Birthday America!

Happy 4th of July! You can't really tell from the pics, but I got some serious sun in Palm Springs over the weekend which in turn made me ridiculously tired! Hope everyone has enjoyed their holiday weekend, I know I have!
