True Love Way.

I just finished watching Notting Hill and I'm in a very reflective(?) and lost sort of mood.. though I suppose since this is a fashion blog, I won't go into that... All I know is that I love going to Le Love and reading stories of love lost and love found, of uncertainty and of conclusions, of happiness and sadness, and of hope or the terrible feeling of despair...

It took me a while to get on the whole jean shorts with opaque tights but I thought today I'd give it a whirl and I think I'm totally on board now! The only thing is I need a smaller pair of shorts.. These ones are a more slouchy summery version than I'd like for right now but they'll have to do.

I finally found matte black nail polish and I love it! I wish they had more colors though...

Set the Fire to the Third Bar

I've had this outfit in my head for a couple days and figured a night in LA was deserved it. Dinner at XIV and then fun times with karaoke at a bar in the valley called The Draft. Some man was so sweet and told me I really shine and my outfit was perfect and that he wasn't hitting on me, haha! Too cute!

I tried brown nail polish but i'm not sure how I feel about it. I definitely like the greenish/blue better...

I don't feel like these pictures do my outfit justice but they'll have to do... my mom was on the phone when she was taking them..

P.S. I love you

It's strange to switch from constantly wearing black jeans to a pair of blue, especially a pair that has a good amount of whiskering and distressing. However, when I saw this pair of Nudies at the Barneys Outlet, I had to have them! It was a prefect outfit for a lunch in Palm Springs; light and casual to fit with the beautiful weather yesterday but the heels and elbow patch blazer add a little more dress.

Oh how I love sales!

I went to the Barney's Outlet store the other day after receiving a phone call informing me they received a new shipment of designer shoes; specifically, a pair of gold Louboutins, however they weren't quite my taste so I let them go. BUT I did find these beauties! They were marked down to around $270 and then an additional 40%!! Which means I got a steal at $160! So fantastic. I really really love my new Miu Miu slingbacks and I love the shoe boxe too, ha!

They are a sea foamy green with a patent heel and cream stitching up the back....  I love their retro feel!
