Night and Day....

So this past friday my mom and I went to a Go Red luncheon in Palm Springs. Red attire was requested so I had to make a little trip to South Coast plaza! It is a difficult thing finding something red right now, which seems a little strange since Valentine's Day is right around the corner...
Anyway, I ended up finding an amazing dress at Barney's Co-op and loved the result!

My mom looks too pretty! Her dress is older than I am!

Later that night, my parents and I went to see Annie at the newly refurbished theatre in town. I loved my outfit too much so I decided to wear it again, with a few changes to make it more nighttime appropriate. I added black opaque tights and switched to patent platforms because it was raining.

Feeling gray? Not quite!

So I took a little inspiration from the fabulous Kate Moss and went light with the clothing. It's not like me to not wear black or dark gray but I went for it and am happy with the outcome! Oh and I just got my hair done! FINALLY!

The other night my friend Beka and I had a little photo shoot after a family birthday... I love love love her sisters drapes. They make me think of old castles in Europe and I really want some in my own house whenever that will be...ha!

FINALLY!

So I had the urge today to actually start this blog and hopefully I'll keep up with it. I'm not sure my mom and brother are so thrilled to begin the daily task of taking pictures, me criticizing, and then taking more pictures but I hope they warm up to the idea of it!
