Lone Star Dreamin'

I don't know if any of you are aware, but maybe you have turned on the news today and heard that today was the hottest day on record in Los Angeles! Yes, 113º F.  I am a bit east of there and I can't imagine that it was much cooler. In fact my car even said it was 113º as well.  I even came home at 3 pm to a house that was out of power, which I assumed was due to the heat (it is a normal occurrence in the So Cal serious heat). There aren't even any outfits suitable for this kind of heat, unless a bikini is appropriate attire for college? Last time I checked, they weren't.
I know these photos have already been all over the blogosphere, however, I just absolutely adore them. And with the Texas heat, they seem perfect for today.

P.S. THIS IS MY 100TH POST!! It's taken me a bit longer than anticipated but I did it!!  It has been amazing and I hope to continue with this new love. So far, senior year has been crazier than I hoped but I promise you will see more of me and my inspirations.

It's My Party and I'll Cry If I Want To!

Wow. I can't believe I disappeared for so long! Obviously from my last post, you can see I have been to St. Thomas and back. But I have also started fall semester and been incredibly overwhelmed with life and such. I have a nice collection of photos going and since today is my due date I'll start by posting pictures from my birthday party in Hollywood at Lucky Strike! It was an absolutely magical time.... especially with a Harry Potter Birthday Cake my amazing friend Trisha and her office hand decorated!

I am currently on vacation in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and haven't had any spare time to post anything!!  Right before I left was possibly the most stressful time of my life but things have gotten a little better, emphasis on little. I am in my final days of summer school and still trying to finish homework here :( while trying to relax at the same time... major bummer right?

Hoping I can get another couple post to you guys while I'm here but no promises... WiFi connections and cell reception for that matter have been absolutely awful! Hope you are enjoying the rest of your summer!

This last weekend we celebrated my birthday, WHICH IS TODAY!, in Las Vegas! Brothers and girlfriends and lots of dancing was just what I needed...
Here is an my outfit from Saturday night. We went to dinner at Eva Longoria's restaurant Beso at Aria and then went out to Vanity at The Hard Rock Hotel, which is always a great time! I wore my new T by Alexander Wang skirt and was excited to see Caroline also has it!!
